Simulation models and modelling systems related to Integrated Coastal Zone Management

INTRODUCTION

The purpose of this section from the NetCoast site is to give an overview of the simulation models and modelling systems related to Integrated Coastal Zone Management that have and are being developed by participation of RIKZ.

The range of applicability of the tools is diverse, starting from 1D, 2D and 3D hydrodynamic modelling, sediment transport and morphological modelling, and extending to decision support systems, environmental impact assessment and socio-economical models.

Each of the tools has separate page containing description with keywords, range of applicability, assessment of validity, recent applications (examples), contact information and references.
